Malta wins Miss World 2017 Talent Fast Track

Malta’s Michela Galea has earned a coveted spot in the Miss World 2017 Top 40 after winning the Talent Fast Track Challenge, held a few hours earlier. The 25-year-old singer comes from a family of musicians and has a considerable fanbase back in her homeland.

Michela beat 19 other short-listed candidates in the Fast Track challenge.

The other Top 5 finalists were:

With Michela’s victory, she is now the second Maltese woman to place in this pageant after Mary Brincat in 1969.
