For the 4th time within five years, Hannah’s Beach Resort and Convention Center in Pagudpud, Ilocos Norte, flew in a group of selected Miss Earth candidates for a weekend courtesy visit and special mini pageant.

This year’s 10 selected delegates were:
Austria – Bianca Kronsteiner
Czech Republic – Iva Uchytilova
Ecuador – Lessie Giler
Guatemala – Maria Jose Castaneda
Israel – Elian Qupty
Korea – Hanna Lee
Sweden – Camilla Fogestedt
Thailand – Paweensuda Drouin
Uganda – Josephine Mutesi
Venezuela – Ninoska Vasquez

As with recent tradition, the visit culminated with a special mock pageant where the selected candidates competed in swimsuit, evening gown, and Q&A. Crowned Miss Earth-Hannah’s 2017 on October 14 was Thailand‘s Paweensuda “Fahsai” Drouin, who also won Best in Long Gown. 1st Runner-Up was Venezuela‘s Ninoska Vasquez, who also won Best in Swimsuit, while 2nd Runner-Up was Ecuador‘s Lessie Giler.

Since the mini pageant’s inception, all its winners, namely, Venezuela‘s Alyz Heinrich (2013), the Philippines’ Jamie Herrell (2014) and Ecuador‘s Katherine Espin (2016) went on to win the main crown. Fans note that this bodes well for the Thai beauty.
