22-year-old Victoria Stein of Puerto Montt was crowned Miss Mundo (World) Chile 2017 at the Bahia Ballroom of the Casino Enjoy in Coquimbo last July 30. She is fluent in both Spanish and English and is currently a Business Administration student in Portland University in Oregon, USA.

She will now represent her South American country in the 66th Miss World finals to be held this November in both Singapore and Sanya, China.

Chile has yet to win the Miss World crown and has placed only four (4) times in that pageant. The most notable of which is Daniela Campos who earned the Queen of Americas title, in addition to finishing in the Top 10, in 1998. The last Chilean to place to date was Gabriela Pulgar, who also won the Miss Talent Challenge Event in 2011.
